SPP on A Bryan Photo.
{ While we patiently await more shots coming in from the Bonjour Bébé shower … } Lauren and Devin’s stunning Montgomery, Alabama wedding is on the A Bryan Photo blog today. A couple Sweet Peach Paper images snuck in, and I am pretty excited about it! A detailed blog post of this scrumptiously southern wedding to come soon, but for now, here’s a teeny peek.  Check out Bryan’s full post on the...

bonjour bébé! ( part one )
In March, some girlfriends and I threw an - I must say! - incredibly lovely shower for our momma-to-be, Alison Baker. Celebrating all things that Alison loves, the shower was aptly themed around The Bouchon Bakery. Be sure to check back tomorrow for photos of this lovely french afternoon! Little phrases en français and, of course, a “bun in the oven” pun for the baker herself...

please inflate to celebrate.
It’s the first of May and the happy news is out! These soon-to-be parents wanted an upbeat and surprising way to announce their baby on the way … Attached to the card was a bright red balloon with a customized message with the baby’s arrival date. Can you imagine receiving such a letter in the mail!?! What fun!

While I've been busy not updating the blog ...
I’ve been busy having a baby! That’s right. My husband, Paul, and I welcomed our sweet little girl into the world on February 15th.  Our little Ann Elise. 8lbs. 14oz. 21 inches. Hello world! So, while I’m hanging out with this precious munchkin, I’ll be taking a break from the lovely world of Sweet Peach Paper. In May, Sweet Peach Paper will be back in action with a new...

SPP on Style Me Pretty.
Georgia and Scott’s beautiful (and when I say beautiful, it’s because I can’t think of a word one hundred times better to describe this event in justice) South Carolina wedding is featured on Style Me Pretty’s blog today … Along with some Sweet Peach Paper goodies. SPP had the privilege of designing Georgia and Scott’s Save the Date and tags for the guest’s favors at the wedding. What a treat...

To My Darling Valentine.
There’s nothing better than opening your mailbox to find a handwritten note inside. Are you planning on sending out Valentine’s this year?   On January 22, 2012, the USPS Postage rates went up, which means new stamp designs! (All stamp nerds raise your hands now). Brides, for your save the dates, thank you cards, and reply cards, a 45 cent stamp is the ticket. If your wedding...

A Perfect Proposal & Some Paper Goodies.
On a chilly Friday night in January, my dear friend Jon proposed to his girlfriend - now fiance! - Abby. The night was, literally, perfect. Once the magic moment happened, Jon yelled out “She said YES!” and the two headed down to the lake house dock, where every one anxiously had been waiting to celebrate our newly engaged friends! After squeals, hugs, champagne, laughing and...

{ Extra } Ordinary.
It’s that time of year again. Love is in the air, the birds are singing, flowers are blooming, and people are gettin’ hitched … Which means presents, presents, presents! I love to give a great gift but am trying to retrain my brain to know that great does not have to equal pricey. With the plethora of showers and weddings we’ve been attending lately, I’ve been...

An Oldie, but a Goodie.
I was going through some old pictures the other day, trying to clean out the garbage that has collected in my iPhoto, and I stumbled across a bachelorette invitation I made for my nearest and dearest, Amanda Banks - I mean, Amanda Vessels - when she was getting married. Apparently, the invitation craze was stirring two years ago. If I remember correctly, I printed these off at work (sorry HPPC)...

SPP, Blogged.
Earlier this week, Sweet Peach Paper was featured on Invitation Crush’s lovely blog. It took me a moment to realize these were our wedding invitations, since no one calls me Jennifer, except when I am in big-time trouble with my mom (cue fifteen-year-old flashbacks), but the double-take made me squeal! What a wonderful Monday morning surprise it was! Be sure to check out the plethora of...

A Sneak Peek of Two Thousand and Eleven.
Working on several wedding invitations for what is now this year, and I find it beyond bizzar-o to be writing dates ending in “Two Thousand and Eleven.” How did this happen?! Two-K-Eleven is shaping up to be a promising year already. I will be doing my first ever collaboration with a calligrapher for an uber-customized wedding invitation, pumpin’ out baby announcements galore,...

Our Christmas Card.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year from the Goebels and Sweet Peach Paper. Now that our (extra late!) cards are off in the mailbox, I figured it was time to show these off on the blog. And a little snow even came our way in Georgia to give us a pretty photo shoot. It’s been a great year full of lots of adventures. I am so thankful for the grace upon grace the Lord has brought to...

The Barfield's Christmas Card.
{ UPDATE :: The links to Jess’ site were incorrect. You can click away now! } What a Christmas gift … Sweet Peach Paper is on the Jess Barfield Photography Blog, again! { snapshot from Jess Barfield Photography Blog. } It only took a couple email exchanges and a fun hour at Susan Ross’ bridal shower soiree, and Jess and I were instant friends. When Jess asked me to design the Barfield’s...

Our 'Day Of' Paper Goods. Part I.
Why let the paper goodness end with your wedding invitation!? ‘Day Of’ accessories are the perfect way to tie your day together. Continuing the fonts, colors, textures, monograms, and any other unique detail that appeared on your invitation throughout your wedding day may seem like a small detail, but its these details that can make the day have that very custom feel. It’s all in...

Our Wedding Suite.
This here is the lil’ project that started the dreams for Sweet Peach Paper. When Paul and I got engaged and started the wedding planning process, I knew that of all the visual details that go into the big day, invitations were the dearest to my heart. Though our wedding would be in the Big D with all the glitz and glam of the city, we eagerly wanted a more casual feel for the day....

A Very Special Thank You.
The best projects are those for best friends. This week, I had the great privilege of designing folded Thank You Notes for the mom of one of my dearest friends in college. Several years ago, she was diagnosed with a rare type of cancer. This battle has been met with great strength from this courageous woman and her family, because they have an unwavering hope in a God who is Trustworthy. Many...

Babies. Babies. Babies.
A dear friend and coworker asked me to design and print invitations for a baby shower she was throwing for her sis-in-law and soon to be baby girl. After discussing styles and color palettes, the design process began. Commonplace ‘pink and green’ combos need not apply; we went with a poppy pink and citrusy green to keep things fresh. A sweet carriage, crisp diamond patterned background, and swirly...

Michelle & Kevin's Wedding Invitation.
For their fall wedding invitations, Michelle wanted something timeless and classic. Graceful cursive and autumn hydrangeas - their wedding flower of choice - were printed in a yummy eggplant purple, to compliment purple and green wedding colors.  Some brides and grooms are choosing these days to forgo traditional response cards and opt for website rsvps instead (easy to track, and an economical...

Susan & Andrew's Wedding Program.
Susan, who you probably already know (from here and here), was married to her beau, Andrew, on Saturday! So of course on this Tuesday morning, I have to show off their wedding programs. Here is a fact: I fancy kraft paper with everything inside me. It’s an obsession, a compulsion, a mania. So when Susan told me she wanted to do a booklet program featuring a kraft paper cover, I was in. For the...

Susan's Bridal Shower Invitations.
Here’s an up close and personal look at Susan’s bridal shower invitations. (Her shower was featured last week in a post with Jess Barfield Photography, but I couldn’t go without showing you all the great details of this lil’ gem.).  Most invitations SPP creates are standard A7 size. Don’t get me wrong, they’re great, but something fun and different was in...

The Sweet Peach Paper Atelier.
Yesterday afternoon, our humble abode was transformed into a full fledged studio for photographing the latest Sweet Peach Paper products. The one, the only, the world’s greatest Shaun, of Shaun Menary Photography, popped in a for a couple of hours to knock my socks off with his talent. Renaissance man that he is, Shaun not only photographed tons of SPP projects, but styled each and every one in...

SPP on Jess Barfield Photography's Blog.
It’s Sweet Peach Paper’s lucky day … We’re on the Jess Barfield Photography Blog! We wanted the evening to suit Susan’s tastes - casual, eclectic, Anthropologie inspired loveliness. The...
